these guys absolutely hate serial killers and yet, maybe that makes them love them.
If you have information that conclusively proves beyond a doubt that Nathan killed Jeffrey Epstein, please DM me.

I watched the first two episodes this morning before work. So far, not so great. The writing seems really clunky and dumb, but maybe it'll improve once they move past the whole setup phase.

Is this intentionally dull as an aesthetic choice or something
The bar pickup scene was excruciating
I’ll stick with it because I’m a history nerd

i don't understand how fincher directed this. sure it's got all his procedural hallmarks but none of his vision

Yeah my most hopeful explanation through the first ep is that this seems like a pretty fair and effective show of how corny and boring the FBI is

I thought there were some shots (like the very first) were clear Zodiac knockoffs.
I don't understand why television or films are so afraid of colours these days.

It's funny how they botch every single scene with a licensed pop song.
This is a crime drama set in the 70s. It shouldn't be that hard to find a good song to help create a cool vibe here and there. Instead we get Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like an Eagle" played over a fucking travel montage.

the first ep is by far the worst.
the rest is a little better, but still pretty mediocre. it's like watching a slightly above-average cable tv cop show.

first episode was boring and badly written, the worst thing Fincher has ever directed. the second one was better because of
Ed KemperToggle Spoiler and the actor playing him, so i'll keep watching
