i went there once and was trying to figure out the menu and the girl was rushing me (cuz that's their thing?) so i just said, "i don't know, this is my first time coming here. just gimmie whatever your vegetarian sub is."
she hollowed out the bread and put mayo and 4 pieces of cheese on it and charged me like 6 bucks.

*kisses fingers*
On Hipinion, posters taxed their bonds and brotherhood, pushing themselves to the brink as a board and as buds.

this definitely a thing. when I was in college, I used to eat white castle on a fairly regular basis because there was one directly in between work and my apartment and it was open late. it was disgusting but I'd still eat it to the point that I got used to it.
last time I went to visit family, I tried it and my tolerance had completely worn off and I barely made it through a single slider

i mean gas station coffee isnt trying to be anything its not. you know what youre getting, and the price is usually in line with that lowered expectation. JJ's is aggressively bad but it tries to kind of frame itself as something more premium. i also just cant get over how horrendous the bread is. combined with the fact that its run by a legitimately shitty human being, and i cant say i have any real nostalgia or "this is bad but good" sorts of emotions around it. its just bad and for the same price you can actually get something good, so why bother.
