The gift of red hair is that it retains its color longer and the white hairs I do have kinda blend in to just make an overall strawberry blonde look.
This happens to me when i go to michigan to visit friends/family. Oregon doesnt issue you a new license when you change addresses, they just send a sticker to cover your old one, and because im bad at arts and crafts i applied it very poorly, and the address is now completely rubbed off from being in my wallet too long.
So going home for me means still having to rely on my older brother to buy me beer.

i did get accused of lying about my age going to get smokes in kansas city about 2 years ago, aged 27. i get ppl that are mildly incredulous often but never to that degree. i'd wager just a little bit younger than i actually am (turning 29 in 2-3 weeks?
given, i look radically different in a lot of ways but it was the exact opposite when i was actually in my early 20s. i think more just because i was really dirty most of the time lol.

I look young. I think I could probably pass for 18, maybe 17 on the young end. I don't think I could pass for much older than I am. Maybe 28 or 29 at the very most. I used to not like looking so young, but I'm getting to the age where it's starting to be alright. I guess I just felt weird/insecure about, like, starting puberty really late, and being at a very different stage, physically, from my peers.

I'm 25 but i could probably pass for older. I was very fresh faced just a couple years ago but working outdoor manual labor most of my adult life has started to catch up to me. Also smoking cigarettes for a long time and drinking heavily probably didn't help

Sometimes, at a shitty bar, the bartender will be like "I'm gonna need to see some ID cuz you fucking look like you're 12" and of course I show them my id, but it's like, is that comment really necessary? And then, like, the drunk women around me will start trying to console me and it's like, I know I look young, I can totally deal, emotionally, with someone being kind of rude about it, I don't need any fuckin consolation or attention about it. Like, I didn't feel bad about it, but now you're making me think that maybe I should.

people tell me I look anywhere from 21 to my actual age (28), usually somewhere in the middle. the way I've lived my life I should look about 36

When I first moved to the city 33-ish, the regular guess by most people was 28-29. I still get that now at 37, even got 27 recently.

People think I’m younger than I am but I assume that’s because I am immature. I have enough wrinkles and greys to look early 30s, which I am

somebody outside of a club recently told me “you have that look where you’re either 16 or you’re 40”

Remember the article about the 35 year old balding French guy who would pretend to be long lost teenagers and insert himself into random families just by wearing teenage clothes and a hat all the time

I was able to grow a full beard by 17 so of course I did but I wasn't able to sell alcohol at the grocery store, and one time a man was in my queue and I had to call the floor manager to ring up his booze and he got mad and said "If you look like you're 40 you should have to wear a sign that says you're not!"

I am very skinny but once you approach my face is haggard, so easily 25-50 depending on distance and lighting conditions
From what I've observed in my peer groups and Hollywood 36 tends to be the age where aging starts to really tear you down
Have a few of the "haven't aged since high school!" friends but they're getting rare
Also interesting how you get to this age and see people and think "damn that person looks kinda old" and you realize they're five years younger than you

I’m fat so people have a hard time aging me. I’ve gotten as young as mid 20s and as old as mid 40s. Most people think I’m closer to 30 when I’m closer to 40.

i'm 35, but most people assume i'm in my 20s. if i'm going to a university for work, they always assume i'm a student. I zero-percent look like i could be a college undergrad if i'm standing next to one, though.
